In early 2025, RICJ successfully deployed 16 Shallow Mounted Hydraulic Road Blockers to secure a high-profile government facility in Bratislava. The project required a balance between anti-terrorism defense and minimal structural disruption to the city's historic urban Factor.
The main goal was to stop any vehicle trying to break in. This shallow-mount road blocker is built with heavy-duty steel to absorb massive hit energy. It creates a solid wall that can stop a heavy truck instantly, making sure the area stays 100% safe.
To keep official traffic moving fast, we added AI Plate Recognition and long-range sensors. Security guards can open the gate from a remote control room or with a simple handheld remote. It’s smooth for authorized cars but impossible for others.
Unlike old-style blockers that need deep digging, our shallow-mount design is much easier to install. We didn't have to tear up the whole road, which saved time and kept the government office running without big delays.
All 16 units connect to the building's fire and security alarms. In an emergency, one button can raise or lower all blockers at once. If the power goes out, there is a manual hand pump so you can still move the blockers by hand.
Slovakia has very cold winters with lots of snow and salt. We used Hot-Dip Galvanized steel with a special anti-rust coating. This keeps the metal strong and looking new, even in freezing temperatures or rain.
Since the installation, the Bratislava facility has seen a 100% success rate in managing perimeter security. The RICJ-RB103 has become a benchmark for the region, proving that high-level security does not have to come at the cost of lengthy construction or aesthetic ruin.
